The Mifa is the world’s biggest animation market. Organised in conjunction with the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, it is an opportunity for you to network with 3,000 animation industry professionals and to show off content to more than 400 buyers and distributors, and more than 600 exhibitors from more than 70 countries.

Welcome to the registration form for the promotional catalogue of Creative Europe MEDIA stand.

Please make sure that your company has been accepted before submitting your title(s).

We accept up to three (3) titles per company. These titles will be promoted on our website during the MIFA and on an interactive screen at the reception of our stand.

  • From Tuesday 13 June to Thursday 15 June from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm
  • Friday 16 June from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. You will have to clear all your materials from the stand by the time the stand closes.

Services and facilities

The Creative Europe MEDIA stand offers the following services and facilities to European independents who have registered via media-stands.eu.


RECEPTION - WELCOME DESK

Area where you will:

– "check-in" and receive your MEDIA lanyard, identifying you as a participant with access to all services and facilities (please always wear it);

– check for messages;

– be informed of special announcements;

– consult a "who’s who" console with information on all the participants and online catalogue.


SEATING AREA, PRIVATE BAR & TERRACE

Area where you can:

– hold your meetings;

– place your leaflets and brochures in the A4 displays along the walls;

– enjoy snacks and free hot and soft drinks with your contacts;

– attend our daily Happy Hour from 5:30 to 7:00 pm;

- charge your devices.

* Do not forget to bring your own (MEDIA) bottle for water fountains, since paper cups will not be available anymore at the stand*. There are various water points on the different Annecy venues where you can refill your bottle as well.

*It is not allowed to bring food into the stand other than the one from our private bar. *


STORAGE ROOM

Area where you may store (a limited amount of) your material.
We cannot accept any liability for damage or theft, so please always keep your valuables with you! The storage room opens from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.


REGISTRATION

STEP 01
On arrival in Annecy, pick up your badge at the MIFA Welcome Area (located on the 1st floor of the Exhibitors Area, next to the Impérial Palace (or at the Festival Welcome Area). You collect it by presenting your ID card.

Free shuttles and bus numbers 5 and 14 – Impérial bus stop.

STEP 02
Come to the reception desk of the European Stand (no. E.22) on the ground floor in the Exhibition Area of the Impérial Palace Hotel (see map above). You will introduce yourself to the welcome staff and you will receive a special lanyard for your badge that identifies you as a participant of the Creative Europe MEDIA Umbrella Stand. This lanyard will give you access to the services and facilities of the Pavilion (please always wear it).

!! It is very important that you come to our reception desk and introduce yourself to our local staff (check-in), this way we will know that you attended the event, otherwise you will be noted as “NO SHOW”!!


MIFA WELCOME AREA OPENING HOURS

- Sunday 11 June: from 2.00 pm to 7.00 pm

- Monday 12 June to Thursday 15 June: from 8.30 am to 7.00 pm

- Friday 16 June: from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm

Your MIFA badge gives you unlimited access to the Festival and MIFA events, as well as to the MIFA areas.


ACCESS TO SCREENINGS

You can request up to two daily reservations to screenings via the online system.
Once you are accredited, activate and update your Annecy Network space to access the ticketing service. You will receive an e-mail with the date when the online ticketing service opens. Be ready to reserve your seats online as soon as it opens.

INTERNET ACCESS

WiFi network is available throughout the Festival week in the Forum Bonlieu, at the Mifa, Le Campus and in the Salle Pierre Lamy. To use it, please follow the steps below:

- Connect to the WiFi network "Annecy Festival"

- Launch a web browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc.)

- Type in the address: wifi.annecyfestival.com

- Type in your Annecy Network access codes received by e-mail

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

For news and practical information on the market (programme, conferences, etc.), visit the official website of the MIFA where you will find a detailed description of the Festival and associated events (screenings, masterclasses, etc.).


For security reasons you are not allowed to enter the Festival and MIFA sites with your luggage or large items. MIFA provides a luggage locker service. You can find all the information regarding this service here.


Remember to bring your personal earphones or headsets! Some events provide simultaneous translation. To take advantage of this service bring your personal earphones or headsets. No equipment will be provided due to health reasons.
