With more than 13,000 delegates, 2,000 exhibiting companies and over 4,500 buyers from around 100 countries, MIPCOM is the world’s entertainment content market. Every October, the global TV industry converges in Cannes to turn every moment into an opportunity, transforming four days of meetings, screenings and conferences into deals – from blockbuster programming to ground-breaking partnerships. The event this year is taking place from 17 to 20 October in Cannes.
Creative Europe MEDIA offers both a discounted participation fee and a stand to some 180 companies from countries participating in Creative Europe MEDIA who meet the eligibility criteria.
MEDIA’s 438 sq.m. stand on the top two floors of the Palais des Festivals for MIPCOM has a dedicated space for meetings, generous areas for meeting with contacts or networking with other participants, a coffee bar, dedicated WI-FI, storage and a messaging service, all free of charge.
Buyers’ briefings are a specific service organised during MIPCOM, where participants can meet with buyers, get inside knowledge about their acquisition policies and current needs and present targeted programmes.
An advisory service is also offered to our first timers and new comers participants before and during the market.
There is also a discounted rate for successful applicants who are also attending MIPJunior on 15-16 October at the JW Marriott.

Palais des Festivals
The Palais des Festivals opens on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Thursday from 8.30 a.m. to 3 p.m
The Creative Europe MEDIA umbrella stand opens from 9 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. except on Thursday, 20 October when the stand closes at 3 p.m. Please clear all your materials from the stand by that time.
The registration on Creative Europe MEDIA stand opens from 9 a.m. on Monday 17.
It is very important that you come to our reception desk and introduce yourself to our charming hostesses!
They will give you a registration form to return together with your business card. You will then be given your Creative Europe MEDIA lanyard which will identify you as a participant, having access to all services and facilities.You can also ask for the password for wi-fi access. Please do not share it with others.
You can make up to two bookings a day for a half hour each, and on a first come, first served basis. We enforce this time limit strictly.
Make your bookings at the Hostess Desk on Level 5.
You can cancel bookings up to two hours in advance. All your future bookings will be cancelled if you fail to take up your two bookings on one day. Bookings can be made up to one day in advance.
There is an unmarked area alongside the media-stands.eu office for your materials.
Please do not leave valuables here.
The storage room will be locked every day at 7 p.m..
The who's who and the catalogue will be published just before the market and a special mailing will be sent to key buyers for promotion.
What are the benefits of signing up?

During the sign-up process, you are asked to provide information about how you meet the eligibility criteria.
Accreditation is open to independent European producers or distributors, i.e. those established in Europe and offering European content (see below for the definition of European content).
During the sign-up process you are asked for an affirmation that you meet this and the other criteria.
Once you have signed up, we submit your application to Creative Europe MEDIA to check that you meet the criteria and that there is still space left. We aim to let you know within a week whether you have been accepted.
We particularly welcome applications from low audiovisual capacity countries and those who have received MEDIA support in the recent past.
