Company Description Movistar+ (formerly Canal + Spain) is the new company created in July 2015 as a result of Telefonica's acquisition of Canal+.

Looking for All types of documentaries but not likely to compete with the group's other channels (History Channel, Natgeo, Discovery...).
Non-scripted programmes.
New titles (no more than one year old) and first run on television in Spain.
One-offs about sports, cinema and television, fashion, arts and architecture, and documentaries awarded in the main festivals.
Television Events (concerts and specials) with a mainstream approach.
Policy & Volume of Acquisition 200 hours acquisitions per year.
Mainly acquisitions, 5% of pre-buys, but they must have a Spanish appeal.
More co-production opportunities may occur with the creation of "Telefonica studios" but it has just been launched.
Language Any language: they voice-over or dub for the main channel, subtitle for the niche ones.
Prices Varies depending on the network interest and the marketing potential.
EUR 30,000-100,000 for premium titles;
EUR 8 000/hour for niche channels.
Length 30´, 60´, feature length.
Territories Spain and Andorra
Licence One year of fully exclusive TV rights.
